The Art Of Photography

Ted Forbes has been shooting photographs most of his life. Specializing in fine art images, his subjects range from still-life and portraiture to architectural and landscape works. He works primarily in film based mediums, mainly in black and white and does all of his own chemical processing.Though he feels that film offers a warmth and versatility that he can't attain with digital images, he is well versed in the latest gear and techniques as well.


In October of 2008, he began to produce The Art of Photography as a teaching project that would reflect his passion for photography and further expand his work in video and multi media. The video podcast is released usually once a week, and is supplemented with text information, photo examples and blog posts. Join Ted for a weekly discussion of equipment, technique, composition, alternative processing and more on The Art of Photography.
